Summer Undergraduate Research
FACES supports students in two summer research programs based at Emory. Please apply directly to either or both of these programs. Your application will be evaluated for FACES funding during the application review process.
- Summer Undergraduate Research at Emory (SURE) is a program of the Emory Center for Science Education. Students spend 10 weeks doing various types of scientific research in Emory labs and are provided with a stipend, and career and professional development support, and more.
- Behavioral Research Advancements in Neuroscience (BRAIN) is a program of the NSF Center for Behavioral Neuorscience Science and Technology Center. Students spend 10 weeks doing various types of scientific research in labs at one of the eight member institutions. They are housed at Emory, and provided with a stipend, and career and professional development support, and more.
