Population Biology, Ecology, & Evolution
Collaboration

Atlanta and Emory support unique opportunities for the development of collaborative research across multiple nationally recognized public heath and biomedical research institutes. Students wishing to explore novel research areas have a great opportunity to do so in a collaborative fashion in diverse laboratories.

PBEE faculty members are drawn from the Emory College Departments of Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Studies, The Emory School of Medicine, the Rollins School of Public Health, the Yerkes National Regional Primate Center, the Emory National Vaccine Center, the Carter Center and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). The Program in Population Biology, Ecology and Evolution is uniquely situated to undertake the synthesis in the areas of disease ecology and molecular evolution because of our longstanding commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and research.
