Bex received her Ph.D. degree from the PBEE Program in Spring 2014. She is currently an Officer in the Epidemic Intelligence Service at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of High Consequence Pathogens and Pathology (DHCPP).

Michael Mina, Ph.D. 2014

Mina, Michael
Michael received his Ph.D. degree from the PBEE Program in Spring 2014. During his time in PBEE, Michael led the inaugural Infectious Disease Institute for the Emory Pre-College Program. The three-week institute introduced high school students from around the country to the study of diseases that cause millions of deaths throughout the world. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Princeton University with Dr. Bryan Grenfell in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. After his fellowship, he will return to Emory School of Medicine to complete his M.D. degree.
