Evolutionary Genetics & Molecular Epidemiology
I study the evolution of antimicrobial resistance in bacteria. This involves developing and evaluating antimicrobial susceptibility testing methods to improve detection of antimicrobial resistance, and characterizing novel antimicrobial resistance genes.
