Tracey Lamb Receives a NIH New Innovator Award

IMP and MMG faculty member, Tracey Lamb, Ph.D., has received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) New Innovator Award for her work on vaccination in the developing world. These awards are given to scientists who propose highly innovative solutions to current biomedical problems. Lamb's funded project will use yeast as a vaccine delivery system, thus replacing the traditional needle and stick method with an oral delivery system, making vaccinations cheaper and more easily administered.
