Dr. Jacques Galipeau Builds Career Out of Cell Therapies

Dr. Jacques Galipeau, faculty member in Cancer Biology, was mentioned in the Atlanta Business Chronicle for his work on stem cell therapies at Emory University. Like many, Dr. Galipeau is a recent Atlanta transplant, but few can say they’ve served haggis to Queen Elizabeth II in a kilt before they arrived here. Now, Galipeau is professor of hematology and medical oncology, pediatrics and medicine of Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute, but he has spent the majority of his life in Canada.
