Faculty Experts Share Advice for Collaborative Research in India

Four Emory faculty members shared insights and tactics for collaborating on research and scholarly projects in India at a panel discussion during the university’s India Week. Of the four Emory faculty members, two GDBBS faculty members are highlighted for their collaborative research projects. 

Dr. KM Venkat M Narayan, faculty member in Nutrition and Health Sciences, selected the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation in Chennai and set up collaboration with Emory to start a global diabetes research program. Dr. Rama Rao Amara, faculty member in Immunology and Molecular Pathogenesis, is studying HIV vaccine development at Emory and has three major collaborative projects in India.
