Behavioral Neuroscience
Faculty in this field use physiology, pharmacology, computational methods and causal manipulations in behavioral assays to reveal brain alterations associated with drug dependence; neurobiological mechanisms of learning and memory; changes in cognitive function with aging; psychobiology of motivation and social behavior; regulation of neuroendocrine functions; and molecular and neurochemical substrates of social and threat responses.
